Definition: Zero Carbon

Zero Carbon

Full Definition of Zero Carbon

Some companies aim to achieve zero-carbon status.

Most carbon emissions come from energy use so by sourcing all of their energy from renewable or carbon-free sources companies could cut emissions drastically. However, to have none at all they need all of the products they use – from the paper in their printers to cleaning products – to come only from suppliers that also source all of their energy from renewables.
