Business, Legal & Accounting Glossary
Volume produces continuous intra-day changes in price reflecting buying and selling pressure.
The difference between the number of shares being accumulated and distributed each day is called volume force.
The Volume Force technical indicator combines volume, trading range and price trend. It is used to calculate the Klinger Oscillator that was developed by Stephen Klinger. The indicator will switch between positive and negative values when the trend changes, with the trend (T) being defined by the sum of the Open, High and Low interval values.
