VocaLink is the company that owns and operates the infrastructure for the UK’s national bank payments. They work closely with both BACS, the automated payment scheme utilised by British banks, and LINK, which manages the UK’s network of nationwide cash machines.

Vocalink is a payment systems company headquartered in the United Kingdom, created in 2007 from the merger between Voca and LINK.

Vocalink designs, builds and operates the UK payments infrastructure, which underpins the provision of the BACS payment system, the Direct Debit system, the UK ATM LINK switching platform and the UK Faster Payments systems.

VocaLink operates its services out of two UK data centres which are based in Harrogate and Dunstable.
