Full Definition of Experian


One of the three largest credit reporting bureaus in the United States. Experian provides a number of services for consumers and businesses through their online system. The company’s main focus is to provide consumers with the tools necessary to maintain and improve their credit worthiness, so that they can secure their financial freedom. Businesses use the services the company provides to gain access to consumers’ credit files. The company was found in 1980 and originally went by CCN systems.
