Account that attempts to combine checking and savings accounts into one as a means to lure customers into keeping their money in the bank. The current portion of the account offers no return and the savings account portion offers an above-average return. These accounts are often free but can be fee-based depending on the account balance. These accounts are most prevalent in middle and southeast Asia.
