Toraku Index


Full Definition of Toraku Index


A ratio used to predict upcoming market corrections, by comparing the number of stocks with rising prices on the Tokyo Stock Exchange to the number of stocks with falling prices. Because it takes into account only the number of stock prices rising and falling, the Toraku Index counts as a market breadth indicator.
