The S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats are blue chip companies with large market caps within the S&P 500 that have increased dividends every year for at least 25 consecutive years.
As of Sept. 15, 2010, the 42 S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats include Archers-Daniel-Midland, Coca-Cola, Family Dollar Stores, and Chubb Corp.
