Monthly budgetary report issued by the Treasury Department regarding various transactions of the United States budget. The most important section of the report relates to the inflows and outflows of cash into the budget. These numbers are used to determine the government’s current deficit or surplus. The report also provides some year over year figures, but mainly focuses on activity from the previous month.
