Full Definition of Philippine Stock Exchange


Securities market for the Philippines created in 1992 after the merger of Manila Stock Exchange and the Makati Stock Exchange. The exchange operates two trading floors located in Makati City and Pasig City. The company previously operated as a non-profit organization, but converted to a for-profit corporation in 2001 after the Securities Regulation Code was enacted.
