Moot court is a simulated legal exercise in which law students participate to simulate appellate court proceedings. Moot court competitions are common in law schools worldwide and provide students with valuable experience in legal research, oral advocacy, and courtroom procedure. Participants are typically required to analyse legal issues, develop persuasive arguments, and respond to questions from the bench. Moot court helps students hone their advocacy skills and gain practical experience in legal reasoning and argumentation.
