Mini-manipulation is manipulating a stock’s price in order to increase the value of the underlying options.
Illegal practice that causes the price of a security underlying an option contract to be altered to provide a deceptive depiction of the true market value of the option. The individual creating the mini manipulation does so as a method of increasing the value of the options and thus increasing the amount of money that will be received for the options.
