A relatively new type of investment where the stakeholder contracts baseball trainers and/or funds academies in the Dominican Republic to train young Latin American athletes with a future potential of getting hired by a Major League Baseball (MLB) team. The investor will receive a large portion of the bonus offered to the player(s) when he signs on with a MLB team.
