Full Definition of Factory Orders


Economic report that monitors non-durable and durable goods orders. This indicator takes into account the dollar volume of inventories, request for new orders, fulfilled shipments or orders from manufacturers. Factory orders are monitored and reported by the United States Commerce Department.
