Full Definition of Eurodollar Floating-Rate Certificate Of Deposit


A floating-rate certificate of deposit (FRCD) that is denominated in US dollars but provided by non-US banking institutions. Unlike a Eurodollar CD however, these instruments are characterized by their varying interest rates which are adjusted periodically when LIBOR changes.
