Full Definition of Credible Signal


A buy or sell indicator generated by quantitative analysis or other methods that has a high degree of confidence. Analysts, traders, and other investment professionals may determine that an indicator is a credible signal based on a history of reliable predictions by the person identifying the signal, or based on confidence in the method or theory employed to generate the analysis.
