Full Definition of Certain And Continuous


An annuity that guarantees a beneficiary will receive payments if the annuitant is no longer living. If the annuitant survives past the number of determined payments, income is guaranteed for life. This would eliminate payments to the beneficiary. Also called certain annuity.
