A type of fund used mostly in Australia which was developed for conservative investors who are looking to preserve capital and reasonable investment returns. Portfolio managers of cash plus funds will invest in a combination of high-yield fixed money market and income securities. The funds success is often compared to the UBS Australian Bank Bill Index. The fees on this type of fund are generally low.
