Full Definition of Bolsas Y Mercados Espanoles


BME. A Spanish company established to operate the Spanish stock exchanges. As of 2008 the company operates four Spanish stock exchanges in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia. Some of the services that the BME provides are IPOs, and trading of stocks, bonds, derivatives and fixed-income securities. The BME has been in operation since 1856.
