Definition: BEACON


Full Definition of BEACON

Automated execution system previously used on the Boston Stock Exchange to process orders for stocks included on the U.S. securities exchange. The system makes executions based on consolidated market prices. The system may also be referred to as the Boston Exchange Automated Communications Order-Routing Network.
