A provision added to an insurance policy to extend the scope of coverage to include further risks to dwellings.
The provision may cover water damage from the plumbing or heating systems, vandalism or malicious mischief, glass breakage, falling trees, damage from ice or snowstorms, or additional risks not otherwise covered by the liability policy.
