Uncertain Tax Position Statement. This form is used by corporate taxpayers for the purpose of reporting federal income tax positions for which the corporation or related party has recorded a reserve in the audited financial statements. The intent of this form is for taxpayers to disclose concise descriptions of tax issues that are uncertain that surround the entity, rather than of the attachments of lengthy analysis or legal interpretations to those tax returns.
